AHG NZ Update – COVID-19 Level 2
We're pleased to welcome customers back into our dealership now we're at COVID-19 Alert Level 2.
With the eased business restrictions this new level brings, AHG’s showrooms and service centres have now returned to more regular operations under usual operating hours. Please refer to dealer websites to confirm specific opening times.
Under Level 2, our dealership teams are now available to assist with customer inquiries on-site. Our sales and service waiting areas are once again open for use and our coffee machines are turned back on, waiting to make you a cuppa!
For those who prefer to keep their interactions contactless for the moment, we’re retaining our virtual and handsfree methods of operation. Throughout Level 2 and beyond, you can continue to interact with our teams in remote ways and by appointment, such as:
- Virtual sales and finance consultations
- Virtual vehicle demonstrations
- Contactless test drives
- Online vehicle appraisals
- Contactless vehicle deliveries
- Contactless vehicle servicing
- Contactless parts orders
- Virtual documentation
- Contactless payment options including Laybuy
Rest assured we continue to take every precaution as per the Government's guidelines for safe COVID-19 practices. Stringent contact tracing measures for every staff member and visitor to our premises has been implemented and hand sanitisation stations are available throughout our dealerships. Our staff continue to practice strict hygiene measures, washing their hands regularly, disinfecting their work areas often and remaining at home if they feel unwell. Throughout Level 2 we will also be limiting the number of people who can enter our premises at any one time to ensure safe social distancing.
Lastly, with Auckland experiencing a severe drought, stage-one water restrictions will be in place from Saturday 16th May 2020. Were Taking our responsibility to reduce water usage very seriously and are following Auckland Council's guidelins to play our part. This includes suspending washing of all customer vehicles until further notice.
